Saved details and payment availability

Saving a recipient does not guarantee that you can send through that method. Confirm that it is available for the payment before adding funds.

02

Compare payment costs in NGN

For the same CNY amount received, compare the total cost in NGN, including payment fees and any currency purchase. A reference exchange rate alone does not include all of those costs.

Payment questions

01Are RMB and CNY the same currency?

Yes. Renminbi is the currency name, yuan is its unit and CNY is the currency code. Suppliers may use RMB or CNY on an invoice.

02Why can the payment cost more than the converted amount?

Converting CNY to NGN at the reference rate estimates the invoice value. The payment total also depends on the provider’s exchange rate, fees and how you obtain the currency used to pay.

03Can Unigox resolve an Alipay charge on my card?

For questions about an Alipay account, a linked card or a charge on your statement, contact Alipay or your card issuer. Unigox cannot access that account or resolve its card charges.
